Project Description

This documentary photography unit is part of the Design, Illustration, and Media-Arts program at the Hartford Area Career and Technology Center (HACTC). Teachers Felicia Allard (HACTC) and Scott Miller (Vermont Folklife Center) invited the students to produce a documentary photography project reflective of their place and expressive of their relationship to their place. The stories will be shared with students in Vietnam and Myanmar - who will respond with their own stories - as part of the World Story Exchange.
